Hello, I'm Yila.
 
I'm a passionate graphic designer currently based in Montreal, and I recently earned my bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from OCAD University.

My journey in the world of art and design began during my childhood, fueling my determination to pursue a career in this field.

I recently had the opportunity to intern as a graphic design specialist at gtechna, a software development company. Throughout my internship, I had the privilege of creating website designs in alignment with the company's branding, crafting engaging motion graphic animations for campaign videos, and designing various visual assets. A significant highlight was my work in developing storytelling animations, which required conveying complex messages succinctly—a challenge I embraced and learned immensely from. In addition to my internship, I've freelanced for various clients, collaborating with start-up companies that have enriched my skill set and deepened my understanding of design in fast-paced environments.

Beyond my design work, I have a range of interests, including anime, drawing, traveling, and, cats! =•ω•=.
